Exercise! Eww right? No not eww!
Working out should be part of your commitment to being healthier. Aim for 45-60 minutes 3-5 times a week! What? That seems like sooooo much work. Well duh, that's why it's called working out. Now before you decide to hate me let me explain what I mean by working out. It's not just exercise. The whole point is to make yourself stronger.
If you are still in school (like me) then you are most likely already exercising. Sports, gym class, clubs, running up the stairs so you won't be late for class, it all adds up if you are trying your hardest! Great, Vy now you're asking me to try? Think about it this way why bother if you aren't going to give it your all? Why waste the time? Let's say you're in gym. Warm-ups, should be easy right? You would be surprised how many people try to cheat. Why bother and make an effort to fail? That's like having a paper due and making yourself write 2 sentences to get the same grade. There's no point. Might as well sit out. In that time even just during warm-ups, you could be improving yourself and making yourself stronger. Don't cheat yourself!
Of course I didn't write this post to rant about trying. For those who want to exercise and be fit without going to the gym I have a recommendation. Pilates! Blogilates (her brand for pilates) was created by Cassy Ho. She is a fitness trainer/instructor that owns the blog blogilates.com and the youtube channel blogilates where she post workout pilates videos. Now if you're thinking, eww pilates. It's actually a pretty good workout. Cassy is so motivating that it's almost fun. Pilates usually does not require any equipment except a yoga mat, which you could replace with a carpeted floor. It's all about using your body as a natural weight. Also it's easy to access since it's on youtube and her blog blogilates.com. Also you will never get bored. Every month she posts a workout calendar which tells you exactly which videos to do, or you can pick and chose from her youtube channel blogilates.
Okay, that's all for now!
